Monthly Recurring Gifts

Stock Gifts

A gift of appreciated stocks, bonds, or mutual fund shares to Groundswell Fund provides critical resources while reducing donors’ combined tax liability up to 70% of the gift, often allowing donors to increase the size of their gifts.

Donating appreciated assets avoids federal capital gains taxes and provides a federal income tax deduction for the current market value of the gift. Similar state tax benefits are also provided in most of the country.

Donor Advised Funds (DAFs)

Donor-Advised Funds (DAF) are a tax-efficient way to manage charitable donations.

Donor-Advised Funds allow donors to make a charitable contribution, receive an immediate tax deduction, and then recommend grants from the fund over time.

We recommend using DAF Direct, which works with Fidelity, Schwab, and BNY Mellon.

Wire Transfers

Contact giving@groundswellfund.org to request wire instructions and indicate it is for Groundswell Action Fund, the 501(c)(4).

For tracking purposes, we kindly request that you include the anticipated gift amount and the date of transfer in your email.
