Investing in Virginia’s Future: New Virginia Majority
New Virginia Majority (NVM) mobilized and engaged thousands of voters ahead of a critical state election last November. Their organizing resulted in two major victories in Virginia: the rejection of a state abortion ban and the winning of Democratic control of the state government.
NVM made over 113,000 calls and knocked on over 300,000 doors across Virginia, amplifying voter concerns around healthcare access, voting rights, abortion access, and climate change.
NVM builds power in working-class communities of color across the Commonwealth. They organize in communities year-round for racial, economic, and environmental justice through political education, mass-scale voter outreach, mobilization, and intensive leadership development around dozens of issues.
